Waldrelikte – Labradorite Earrings with Silver-Plated Sequoia Cones

A piece of the forest to take with you: for the Waldrelikte we transform genuine sequoia cones into small silver artifacts by electroplating. A deliberate patina darkens the recesses while the raised tips stay bright – so the individual scales stand out three-dimensionally and the earrings get their antique character.

Above each cone sits a faceted labradorite in a silver setting. Depending on the angle, its typical blue play of colour flashes up – a cool point of light above the dark, organic shape. Despite their presence, each earring weighs only about 3 g.

Care

Store dry and protect from water, perfume and cleaning agents. Clean only with a soft, dry cloth – please no silver dips and no heavy polishing, so that the silver plating and patina are preserved.
