Fimonacci polymer clay dread beads

Here you'll find a wide selection of Fimonacci dreadlock beads made from polymer clay (Fimo). The variety shows in the different pattern shapes and colour compositions created with the millefiori technique. What all pieces share is the clear, detailed structure of the surfaces and the harmonious choice of colours.

The millefiori technique creates complex patterns that only become visible in cross-section and give each bead its own character. The beads are made by hand and then carefully finished so that they sit evenly in dreads, braids or strands of hair.

Our polymer clay dread beads are made using the millefiori technique: many coloured strands of modelling clay are built up into a pattern that only becomes visible in cross-section. From this we make beads with our own designs such as “Desert Bloom” or “Emerald Rain” – in small batches and by hand.
