Wire Dread Bead with Pine Cone Scale & Gemstone – Forest Jewellery for Dreads

Here our wire dread bead meets a genuine pine cone scale: the wire ring is slid onto the dread, and below it the wooden scale dangles freely – combined with a gemstone of your choice. Rustic, light and with true woodland character.

I collect the cone scales myself on my travels in Corsica and Italy. Each one is selected, sanded and processed individually – which is why no two beads are alike.

How to find the right size

Measure the thickness of your dread where the jewellery will sit and choose a hole diameter that is the same size or slightly larger. If you have any questions about sizing, just write to us.
